This hail from the BOOM! Headquarters contains a new shipping update! We’re pleased to announce that US and Australia customer shipments for Wave 2 are officially underway and are now in transit with the last batch going out this week. We'd love to hear what you think when you receive your shipments!

With the latest completed, that means we're gearing up for the next exciting stage of shipping! We are planning to charge cards and pull address data for Wave 3 customers during the week of July 15th, so please be sure to address any outstanding balance and/or address changes before that time.

Included in Wave 3 is the third and FINAL chapter of THE EXPANSE: DRAGON TOOTH, either in the form of four single issue comic books (#9-12) and/or a collected edition (Volume 3 as a softcover/hardcover or both). 

But that’s not all, copains! If your reserved order contained or qualified for any of the following items (Challenge Coins, the Metal Boxes, The Star Maps, the Hand Terminal, the Patches, the Bookmarks, and the Beanie), they will be included in this final shipment as well! Lastly, as a reminder, if you were impacted by the charge error resulting in an undercharged amount for your Wave 2 shipments, the charge for the outstanding amount will be included with the amount of your Wave 3 shipping fees and sales tax (if applicable).

Wave 2 Shipping Update & First Look at Dragon Tooth #12

We’re sending you an update from BOOM! Headquarters to let you know that Wave 2 shipping is underway! More specifically, Europe and UK customer shipments are currently in transit, and US customer shipments will be on their way in the next few weeks.

This shipment includes the second chapter of THE EXPANSE: DRAGON TOOTH, either in the form of four single issue comic books (#5-8) and/or a collected edition (Volume 2 as a softcover, hardcover, or both) depending on your reserved order.

We are delayed on softcover shipments only for any customers located in Australia due to longer than expected transit times for that item to our international fulfillment partner. Any single issue and hardcover Australian customer shipments will be in transit in the next few weeks. We apologize in advance for the delay, and are working with our fulfillment partner to get this resolved. We will update Australian customers with additional information on softcover shipments as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

In the realm of important housekeeping, we discovered after completing charging for Wave 2 shipping and sales tax (if applicable) that there was an error resulting in many of you to be undercharged for your Wave 2 shipments. If you were impacted by this, we will charge any outstanding amount along with the Wave 3 shipping fees and sales tax (if applicable) in July ahead of the final wave of fulfillment. We will remind everyone again in our next monthly update. Rest assured, that your total shipping charges will not exceed the total amount we estimated at the beginning of the campaign.

Wave 2 Fulfillment Updates

Hello, Beltalowda and Inyalowda!

We’re sending you a transmission from BOOM! Headquarters to let you know that we are preparing your Wave 2 fulfillment! The Volume 2 collected editions being printed overseas are slated to hit the water in mid-April which we anticipate will push back our fulfillment timeline a bit from our original targeted date. Right now, we expect to be shipping Wave 2 out to you in June or July. We will update with additional timing details next month! 

Wave 2 will include the second chapter of THE EXPANSE: DRAGON TOOTH, either in the form of four single issue comic books (#5-8) and/or a collected edition (Volume 2 as a softcover/hardcover or both) as determined by your pre-order.

What does this mean for you? For those of you receiving the single issue comics and/or a collection edition, you’ll see a balance on your account for the shipping costs shortly in BackerKit. Please be sure to review as your cards will be charged prior to shipping. Also if you haven’t already, now is a great time to update your address within Backerkit (if you’ve moved or need these sent to another location).  

We are planning to charge cards and pull address data for all Wave 2 backers on April 2nd so please be sure to address any outstanding balance and/or address changes before then. 

Also, be on the lookout for Issue #10 of THE EXPANSE: DRAGON TOOTH to arrive digitally in your inbox via Backerkit on March 27th!
